Mid-ship version of the 2nd generation MINI-Z chassis. Combines detailed scale form with racing performance!

Mid-ship layout features motor mounted in front of the rear axle. Minimal overhang with a low, wide form enables the special characteristics of certain car styles to be recreated with amazing accuracy. With the weight of the motor positioned close to the center of the chassis, the concentration of mass realizes even lighter control characteristics. Superior agility and handling produce excellent drivability for the best micro-racing experience around.

About the BMW McLaren F1 GTR No.42 Team BMW Motorsport LM 1997?

In order to remain competitive with the new Porsches and Nissans, the McLaren F1 underwent a major overhaul. The 6 liter V12 engine delivered significant increases in power and performance and even greater downforce was achieved with wider tread and longer nose and tail that created a more aggressive posture. In 1997, the project delivered competitive results at the FIA GT Championship and Le Mans 24 Hour. The BMW works No.42 entry with its white body and blue and red checker flag pattern emblazoned with FINA livery brought the Le Mans crowd to its feet.
